What counts as an astronomy print?

What sizes and formats do astronomy posters come in?
Posters print at A4, A3, A2, 50×70 cm and 70×100 cm. Framed posters come at A3 and A2, in black or natural wood. Canvas runs 30×40, 40×50, 50×70 and 60×80 cm, and most plates are also available as framed canvas, metal or wood. Every paper size uses the same stock: 250 gsm uncoated off-white archival. All of them use pigment inks. Canvas is stretched over FSC-certified bars. Away from the wall, the same artwork prints on an 11oz mug (£16.99), a 500ml stainless bottle (£28.99) and a pack of ten folded cards (£19.99).
Which size should I choose?
A3 suits a desk, a shelf or a gallery wall of several plates. A2 is the safe default over a sofa, a bed or a fireplace. 50×70 cm and 70×100 cm are statement sizes for a feature wall: worth stepping back and measuring the space first, because a large print in a small room reads as crowded rather than dramatic.

Yes, the Carina pillars, Andromeda, Saturn, the galactic core and the rest are faithful interpretations of real objects and events, composed for the wall rather than the textbook. They are original artworks, not licensed telescope photographs.
